THE PRODUCER

Nawar Dalati had been around the music scene for sometime before getting into the Studio Recording business. Initially performing in several bands internationally and interstate, Nawar has performed as both as a session musician and as a band member primarily in the heavy metal scene where he played lead guitar and Drums.

His love for sonic sounding recording is his drive to create the ultimate live band sound, something that would grab everyone's attention, and in many ways, that's what has happened, working with some great musicians, his ears have developed rapidly and noticeably, he pays great attention to detail, character and continues to be innovative in the field of recording.

Nawar's knowledge comes from experience, observation and experimentation, also from technique sharing with some top industry producers and engineers. His knowledge is obvious, from his approach to a recording session, to his ease and ability to work with Nawarmusicians. His technique is simple, "throw every idea into the pot, then throwing out those ideas that don't work", a technique that is responsible for creating some of the catchiest tracks from some of Australia's finest up and coming artists.

Nawar's ability to hear beyond the sounds being performed has earned him the title 'Bionic Ears', from his wife Jadi-Anne. "Don't expect anything to slip past his ears without a

comment ... or two ... it's what he does best"

Nawar has refined his art of recording by applying his own theories and practical methods to techniques he uses very well.

One of his favorite recording techniques is 'mixing on the fly', he says "the picture will start to take shape and color, while the outlines are being put down, and this way the artist can start to see the vision becoming real, and that is where the magic starts".

Many producers and engineers prefer to leave everything dry, allowing the recording to move on at a faster pace , it is a long lived process that Nawar  Nawar finally come to believe is outdated, as current technology can allow for so many more possibilities without boundaries.

Collaboration is one of the many things that Nawar loves to be involved with, his passion for working side by side with the artist to inspire and create a great song, from acoustics, instrumental, rock, metal, Fusion, R&B, bands or solo performers, just about anything else you can bring along.
